My mother Said to me if you like drawing characters you have to study the human form. I had life drawing classes in my free time before I went to Central Saint Martins. It is the best way to lean and one begins to appreciate how complex and intricate the human form is. You then begin to understand it takes a master to create a character which appears life like. I recommend Anatomy for the Artist, by Jeno Barcsay, its beautifully illustrated and the drawings are extremely detailed.
