Biography

I have decided to create this blog ,  to showcase my work. I will include, art work, photography and 3.d models. The blog will be updated regularly and with a bit of luck the art should be constantly improving. My name is David and I am studying animation and will be doing my final year this coming October. Before joining Ravensbourne College of design and communication I studied at Central Saint martins completing a one year foundation  In art and design which I passed with merit. 

Prior to Central Saint Martins and Ravensbourne, I decided to travel, I wanted to do this after being inspired by the many documentaries about ancient culture, the experience was truly life changing I will never forget the warmth and sincerity that was shown to me by these amazing people. I was awarded with an immense measure of hospitality.

Drawing is completely contrasting in its nature, sometimes, it can be simple and on the other hand vastly complex, for me it is a way of expressing my self and also  an extremely calming activity. My love for art was closely connected to my love for the natural world, my characters are inspired by nature and mythology. Mythology is the perfect subject in which to learn from when creating animations, illustration or anything and everything creative. 

This blog will be a showcase of my work ranging from photography, illustrations and concept art. It will be constantly updated.
